Shipping and Delivery Policies
It usually takes 48 hours to process your order. Online orders will typically be shipped within 48 hrs of receipt and processing depending on product availability and time of year. We send online purchaser an e-mail to the e-mail address provided at check out, on the day your order ships. We will also send tracking number and estimated date of delivery.
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we only ship Ground Shipping to the following states: CT, RI, MA, NH, ME, VT, NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD, VA, NC, WV, SC, KY, OH, MI, IN, IL, WI, TN, GA, AL, and FL. *All other states ship minimum 3 Day Shipping for perishable items.
* Please note we do not ship perishable items by Ground Shipping to the following states: California, Texas, Washington, Oregon, Montana, Utah, Arizona, Nevada and Colorado.
For non-perishable items purchased at our online store, we ship Ground across the continental US.
Please note that all cheese orders placed on Thursday will typically ship on Monday or Tuesday the following week depending on product availability.
During November thru January and other peak periods, we may require extra time to process and deliver your order and will inform you of any unusual delays.
We cannot ship to PO Boxes.
Artisan Made America will not assume responsibility for any incorrect addresses or e-mails provided to us; delivery, return and re-delivery charges will apply to you the customer. We are unable to replace cheeses that perish due to recipient’s being unavailable at the time of delivery. Please note that our boxes are clearly marked “perishable” on the outside and we are not responsible for the items received but not opened.
Packaging
Your cheeses are packaged in insulated cartons, fitted with gel ice packs and cushioned with packing material to ensure quality standards.
Ordering Guidelines
Artisan Made America makes every effort to maintain the quality of our fine products. Please inspect your package immediately upon receipt. If there is any problem with your order please contact us within 24 hours of receipt. Credit will not be granted if unsatisfactory items are discarded or consumed.
Orders
Orders can be placed 24 hours a day, seven days a week via our web site. Telephone orders can be placed Tuesday – Saturday from 10am to 6pm EST. Call us at (203) 273-5821. We accept the following credit cards: Mastercard, Visa, and American Express. Cash, checks or money orders are not accepted for online purchases. All prices are subject to change without notice. We do not ship C.O.D. Sales taxes will automatically be added to any purchase when applicable.
Product Substitutions
Due to seasonal availability and supply limitations, we may need to substitute items within one of your gift selections to ensure freshness and timely delivery. We will always substitute with alternative ingredients of equal or greater quality and value.
Added Security and Privacy
All e-mail addresses and personal information (such as name, address, credit card number, etc.) are transmitted in an encrypted form for your protection and information is destroyed after the transaction has been completed and accepted by the Credit Card processing system we use. The Credit Card processing company (Stripe) and Artisan Made America does not store your personal data – it is deleted when the transaction has been successfully completed.
